Training with the Team

Members of the Barnabas Children's Ministry Team are available to come to your church and help you with your training needs.

In particular, we offer sessions that focus on sharing Bible stories creatively with children and families, developing and delivering successful all-age worship, supporting your team, exploring children's spirituality and also working with your local schools.

We are happy to discuss with you the exact shape and content of a training session so that it best suits your needs. A typical session usually lasts up to 2 hours, perhaps in an evening or on a Saturday morning. You may find it useful to work together with other local churches which would be a way to keep costs down. For full details of these, contact us.

Training with key resources

Churches have also asked us to come and lead sessions based on the modules in two key training books, both published by Barnabas for Children, namely:

• Core Skills for Children's Work
• More Core Skills for Children's Work

In addition, we have also developed in conjunction with WTL a Study Guide to The Growth of Love, published by Barnabas for Children.
