Talking about a Bible story

Martyn Payne

On your Marks:

How do you get your group talking about the Bible story you have just told? How can they hear for themselves what the story is saying? How can they make their own discoveries about God’s love and apply it in their lives?
What follows is a very basic template that could be adapted for your own group and for any Bible story you are using. The aim is to get the children thinking, doing and discovering for themselves!

Get Set:

Download the Bible story template and make any desired adaptations (for example a logo, names, colour or illustrations) that you need.

Go!

Now tell your Bible story. Why not use the story as it is retold in The Barnabas Children’s Bible? Let the children work with the story using the suggestions and questions on the template, either as individuals or in groups.
